B_01.02 List of entities within the scope of the register of information
What this template is for
B_01.02 lists every entity in scope of the register. It is the master list of entities: B_01.03, B_02.02, B_03.01, B_03.03, B_04.01 and B_06.01 refer to its LEIs.
Filling it in
- Never empty. For an individual report with no other group entities, list the reporting entity itself (EBA FAQ Q101).
- Direct parent (0060): without a direct parent undertaking, repeat the entity's own LEI from 0010 (EBA FAQ Q58).
- Non-financial group entities that are relevant to the provision of ICT services belong here too (EBA FAQ Q125).
- Consolidation level: the AFM explains when you report at entity level and when at the highest level of consolidation in the EU (AFM (opens in a new tab)).
How DORA Convert handles it
Our Excel template has a sheet named after this template. Each column header carries a note with what to enter, an example and the official source. Drop-down cells show each option as a label with its EBA code; the package carries the code. Errors block the package; warnings do not. See what we check.
- LEIs: the entity LEI (0010) and the parent LEI (0060) are checked for format and check digits. An empty parent LEI is an error.
- GLEIF: with online checks on, both LEIs are looked up, as the EBA does with VR_12 and VR_23. The entity country (0030) is compared with GLEIF, as in VR_16; a mismatch is an error.
- Reporting entity: the LEI from B_01.01 must be in this list; if not, or if the list is empty, that is an error.
- EBA rules: the EBA's active business rules for this template run as warnings.
- Reminder: unless your workbook shows it, you are asked to confirm that relevant non-financial group entities are included (FAQ Q125).

Official clarifications
- Individual reporting in B_01.02: B_01.02 cannot be left empty; for individual reporting with no other group entities, it contains the reporting financial entity itself. (FAQ Q101)
- Non-financial group entities: Non-financial entities relevant to the provision of ICT services must be included in B_01.02. (FAQ Q125)
- c0060 LEI of the direct parent undertaking of the entity: FAQ Q58: if there is no direct parent undertaking, repeat the entity's own LEI from B_01.02.0010.
