B_02.01 Contractual arrangements – General Information
What this template is for
B_02.01 has one row per contractual arrangement, with its unique reference number. That number is reused in B_02.02, B_02.03, B_03.01, B_03.02, B_03.03, B_04.01, B_05.02 and B_07.01.
Filling it in
- Use one stable reference number per arrangement and reuse it exactly in the other templates.
- Choose the type of arrangement: standalone, overarching, or subsequent or associated.
- Overarching reference (0030): for a subsequent or associated arrangement, enter the reference of its overarching arrangement. Where no overarching arrangement exists, type
Not Applicablerather than leaving the cell blank (EBA FAQ Q124). - Report the annual expense or estimated cost for the past year, with its currency.

- Overarching reference: a subsequent or associated arrangement must point to a real overarching arrangement;

For a standalone or overarching arrangement, a blank cell is an error; typeNot Applicable. - Self-reference: an overarching reference must exist as a reference number in this template. This link is stated in the data model, so a broken one is an error.
- Keys: each reference number may appear once.
- EBA rules: the EBA's active business rules for this template run as warnings.
